EC-12 Motorized Lighting Lift
Fully equipped with cables · Running Speed Adaptive · Multi-function automatic control
Motorised hanging points concealed in hall and ballroom ceilings (Multifunctional Liftable Hanging Point): lowered to working height to rig lighting trusses, loudspeakers and screens, raised to trim height for the event and retracted afterwards. They work with a retractable cable reel that carries power and signal.
A liftable hanging-point system has two parts used as a set: load-bearing hanging points (typically two, one at each end of the truss) and a retractable cable reel that feeds power and signal to the equipment on the truss. The reel carries no load and follows the speed of the hanging points.
Hanging points are linked by RS485 for individual or group control with status monitoring of each unit; the whole system can be managed centrally with the JCP-802 controller.
| Series | Role | Load | Key features | Used for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
SLM | Load-bearing point | ≤250 / ≤500 kg per point | Built-in retractable cable reel; RS485 cascading; multiple upper and lower limit switches | Lighting trusses, loudspeakers and displays in ballrooms and halls |
EL | Load-bearing point | ≤500 / ≤1000 kg per point | Steel chain, geared motor, electromagnetic brake that engages on power loss, variable-frequency drive; Standard and Pro versions | Heavier lighting and AV loads, grouped per event |
LFD | Set of 2 points + 1 cable reel | Published by the manufacturer in the spec image | Dual-motor, dual-belt synchronous drive; dual flexible traction; RS485 | Secondary lift for motorised projection screens, event banners |
EC-12 | Retractable cable reel | Not load-bearing (max. tension 10 kg) | Travel ≤12 m; supplied cable: 9 × 4 mm² power, 2 network, 1 DMX512; 300 W; RS485 | Power and signal for lighting trusses used with the hanging points |
SCR-11L | Retractable cable reel | Not load-bearing (max. tension 10 kg) | 80 W; follows hanging-point speed; RS485 and buttons | Power and signal for equipment used with the hanging points |
Rigging loads and point positions must be calculated for the actual equipment, and the ceiling structure capacity confirmed by a structural engineer. Liza helps select the series and number of points from your ceiling plan.
